Tanya

Hi, I'm Tanya, Owner/Operator of Puppy In My Pocket Dog Grooming.

My grooming career started in 2004, where I trained under a master groomer. Quickly falling in love with dog grooming, I worked at various salons in Calgary. I have always dreamed of owning my own salon, so here it is!

I believe in making every dog's grooming experience a positive one. I genuinely enjoy my job and love animals of all shapes and sizes. I believe if a grooming experience is stress-free for the dog, it is stress-free for me too. I take pride in keeping the salon extremely clean and organized for a smooth operation.

The team and I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend(s)!

Meet Our Groomers

Leni is the Manager and a full-time groomer for Puppy In My Pocket. She has been grooming for over 15+ years and is very knowledgeable in the industry.

She is the owner of a Chinese Crested named Fable, and two kitties named Allura and Kevin.

Since November 2024, Leni has also been fostering a sweet little kitten from Furball Force Animal Rescue named Jonesy! To no one's surprise, he has consistently been Puppy in my Pocket's Employee of the Month ♥

Hope is a full-time groomer at Puppy In My Pocket, with 7+ years of experience in the industry. She loves spending time with friends, traveling, and playing Dungeons and Dragons in her spare time.

You can often find her on her lunch break visiting Global Pet Foods in McKenzie Towne, bonding with all of the furry friends who are currently up for adoption!

She is the proud owner of two lovely calico cats named Jolyne and Narancia.

Meet Kerstyn, our receptionist!

She's been working for Puppy in my Pocket for 7+ years.
She thrives in the busy atmosphere and truly loves her job. [It's true, I do!]
With her friendly personality, attentiveness to detail, and drive to go above and beyond, she will put your mind, and your dogs', at ease when calling or visiting our salon.

When she's not at work, you can find her snuggled up with her senior cat Gibbs, listening to music and reading a book.
